Where and when are games?
Games are played at either Kilsyth, Lilydale, Melba or Oxley Stadiums. Girls Miniball, U9 and U10 play Tuesday afternoon/nights after school. Girls U12 to U23 play Wednesday afternoon/nights after school. All boys age groups play Saturdays.
When does the season start?
Summer season starts at the start of term 4 and runs through to the end of Term 1. Winter season starts at the start of term 2 and runs through to the end of Term 3.
Where is training and how long is it?
Training is held in one hour sessions at Mooroolbark College, Monday to Friday from 4pm to 9pm. The night you train will be confirmed once the teams for the new season are locked in, but we try keep the younger team sessions earlier in the afternoon.
What will it cost me?
Flashes Registration Costs:
New Members U7 – U10: First Season FREE (please see below for additional information)
Age 4 – 7yrs: $25
Age 8 – 17yrs: $65
Age 18 – 22yrs (Non Training Teams) $45
Additional child/ players discount – 20% off
We offer the first season Flashes fees free for U7-U10 free for brand new players, but you will need to obtain the discount code from a coordinator to redeem this offer when registering. You will also pay a game day fee of around $11 per game to your team manager.
Ages – 0-17 $29 Ages – 18+ $43
KMBDA Registration Fee – $10
This fee covers maintenance, wages, seasonal trophies and general admin costs.
I can’t pay my fees in one lump sum, do you do payment plans?
Only by exception, if you would like to apply for a payment plan please contact our treasurer at treasurer.mfbc@gmail.comto arrange before registering.
Do I need a club uniform?
Yes, uniforms can be ordered online through our store page. A full set of shorts and singlet cost $95.00. Enquiries regarding sizing and numbers can be directed to our uniforms coordinator.
Do I have to play every week?
It is expected you will play every week, but with exceptions of course (illness, school camps etc). There are no games or training over the school holidays and on public holidays.
